Neil Patrick Harris is enjoying his vacation in St. Tropez with his partner David Burtka and pals, Elton John and David Furnish. And it’s good he’s there relaxing and not listening to the reviews of his movie The Smurfs. They’re not that good. The Washington Post said it was an instantly forgetable storyline and the LA Times said it was more like a 3D disaster movie.

But ultimately, does it really matter what critics think of Neil’s performance or the movie itself? No. Parents have taken their kids to this 3-D nightmare and the film has raked in over $50 million at the box office so far. If the number continue to rise, they’ll probably make a sequel.
