Talk about a made for TV wedding. Which I’m sure is just a complete fluke: obviously Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are getting married for love, and nothing less. Ha. Ratings couldn’t possibly be a factor. It’s got to be a total coincidence that one of INF Daily’s photographers found Kardashian dropping off a bridesmaid dress to be altered earlier today. A dress that she’d just picked up from Paris Hilton’s house. Yep, sounds like Paris is going to be one of Kim’s bridesmaids. Who wrote that into the script?

In terms of drama, it’s a smart move. Kim originally became famous as one of Paris’ BFFs, and her profile increased when Paris and Nicole Richie’s friendship broke up. Of course what skyrocketed Kim to fame was her sex tape with Ray J, but no one seems to remember that anymore. No one’s sure if Kim and Paris officially parted ways like Paris and Nicole did, or if they just naturally grew apart. But the two haven’t been seen together in a long, long time. And in the last few years many have noted that Kim is better at being Paris Hilton than Paris is. She gets all the fame and money mostly for being famous, but manages to do it without annoying people to the same degree Paris does.

Whatever happened between them, it appears they’ve reconciled, if only for the sake of ratings. And it’ll probably work: I’m dying to see what Paris pulls at the wedding. I’m guessing a nip slip early on, then some sort of drunken foolery with some over-sharing about Kim’s personal life later in the evening. Or maybe it’ll be even more spectacular.
