This is sorta strange. Or maybe just very smart, given these tough economic times. We caught Entourage star Adrian Grenier shopping for jewelry for a friend at a store in Hollywood yesterday. It looks like it’s either a discount jewelry store or perhaps a supply shop. Maybe it’s for a friend he doesn’t like a lot? “Here, I bought you a present. Whoops, let me pull off that $4.99 tag.”

Regardless, we’re giving him the same amount of credit as if he bought his stuff at a high-end boutique. First off, it’s nice to see a celeb that doesn’t do that. Secondly, the dude is seriously investigating all the stuff he’s looking at. He didn’t just pop in, buy the first thing he saw, and pop out in under two minutes. Whoever’s the receipient is gonna know Adrian Grenier put some effort into their present. And also, his eyes were suuuuuuuuper pretty while doing it.
