Kirstie Alley is still camping out at the Greenwich hotel in New York. It must be easier to stay slim (ish) in a hotel where you don’t have a proper kitchen. Kirstie’s staying here because she’s filming a movie don’t you know called Syrup. The movie is about two people in their 20′s trying to move up the corporate ladder of a soda company. So, basically, it’s a movie we’ve all seen before, just with soda and not say, a magazine like The Devil Wears Prada.

Alley plays the CEO of the company so we’re guessing she’s the Meryl Streep/Anna Wintour character and Amber Heard is Anne Hathaway’s. It does beg the question – what’s the next industry to get this kind of treatment? Something where the big players can do a ton of product placement and have their names splashed over the whole thing. Maybe the organic food industry. Or sneakers. What do you think?
