Well, “cleans up okay” in a rock & roll sort of way. When we caught up with Courtney last night she was heading into the backstage entrance at MoMA for the Amfar Inspiration Gala. And given her style, we assumed she was already in her outfit for the evening. She looked scattered, ratty, and like she stole an ostrich’s backside. So pretty much what we’d expect.

But Love changed after she performed, and while the dress was a mess and nearly showed her lady bits, she looked… not bad. Well, not bad for Courtney Love. You’ve got to remember this is all on the Courtney Love scale. She’d look like sh*t for a regular celeb. She also looks sorta drugged up and waxy in a couple shots; but there are just as many images where she looks lively and genuinely pretty. It’s unsettling.
