Did Jennifer Aniston & Courteney Cox Break Up?
Have Jennifer Aniston and longtime BFF Courteney Cox broken up? That’s what Us Weekly is claiming. The two haven’ t been photographed together in over a year. Apparently they’re being classy about it and not drawing attention to their rift, which we give them props for.
Us claims their falling out is mostly over the way Courteney has been gallivanting around with her Cougar Town costars Brian Van Holt and Josh Hopkins since her trial split with husband David Arquette last year. Apparently Aniston finds it insensitive, and it triggers memories of the way Brad Pitt through Angelina Jolie in Jen’s face so soon after their marriage ended.
It probably doesn’t help that Aniston briefly dated Josh Hopkins back in the day, though we doubt that’s her major sticking point.
Of course, publicist-approved People Magazine is spinning a whole different story. They claim Jen’s found love (again!) with Justin Theroux, and had a small “get to know the dude I’m currently boning” party for her friends – including Courteney – on Friday. What a perfectly placed way to distract from the real story!
