Pocket sized twin designers Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen braved the rain today in New York City this afternoon. While most of us would stick to jeans and rain boots in weather like that, the Olsen Twins are fashionistas. Which is why they always look so incredible and put together. Yeah.

Anyway, they’re willing to suffer for their “style.” Ashley was wearing what appeared to be a long skirt with a lengthy slit up the center, which went up higher than the bottom of her coat. Very strange, and seems like a great way to make sure her thighs got splattered. Not like that. By the rain.

While Mary-Kate was in open heels – neither of those words are great when discussing rain footwear – at least she wasn’t dragging anything along the sidewalk. Finally, the more rational sister.
