Turns out Kelsey Grammer wasn’t satisfied with his super quickie divorce from now ex-wife Camille – which she granted him so he could marry his mistress Kayte Walsh. Now Kelsey is going after sole custody of their nine-year-old daughter Mason and six-year-old son Jude.

No word on why Kelsey believes he’s the better parent, or why he’s requesting the kids only be allowed half of summer and winter breaks with their mom. But Camille’s made it clear she’s going to fight like hell to keep her children, and we can’t blame her. Our best guess? Kelsey was able to get the judge (and Camille) to agree to divorce the pair, while leaving one of the particulars of their financial settlement for a later date: Camille’s share in Kelsey’s retirement pension. So while they’re divorced, everything is not yet settled. Could going for sole custody be a part of Kelsey’s negotiating strategy?
