We can’t lie, we were pretty disappointed with the big kiss. It didn’t help that Kate and Will kept us glued to our TV, staring at smartly prancing horses for well over an hour. When would this epic thing go down? And then when it FINALLY did, it was a very quick, brief, blink-and-you-miss-it sort of affair. Kate probably didn’t even know it happened.

But as one commenter pointed out, Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s balcony kiss was very orchestrated, and you could tell. Kate and Will were at least natural, and that’s something. Or maybe that little girl on the left killed the mood.
