We caught up with Halle Berry meeting Billy Dee Williams for lunch in Hollywood yesterday. Berry looked as if she just came from the beach and was wearing a coverup, but apparently that’s a dress. Fashion. What do we know! Well, we know this – it looks pretty awful on her. And Halle Berry is gorgeous with an amazing figure. It’s hard to believe there is stuff out there that can make her look bad!

We just learned that Halle declined the role of Aretha Franklin in the biopic of her life. Apparently Berry was worried about her lip synching abilities. Or, more to the point, her lack thereof. That may be why Berry was having lunch with Williams – to try and persuade her to take on the part. Other contenders for the role are Jennifer Hudson and Fantasia Barrino. We’re guessing they won’t have to lip synch too much.
