Exclusive Pics! Gwen Stefani & Son Kingston Rossdale Go For Mani/Pedis

There is something utterly wrong with the idea of kids getting manicures and pedicures. It’s not bad for them to look their best, it’s more the idea of them being so pampered that sort of makes our skin crawl. The fact is, they’re kids. They don’t need to have their feet pumiced. Children already have gorgeous, enviable skin. And then the idea of some adult having to sit there and scrub a bratty kid’s feet is just kind of awful.

But clearly Gwen Stefani doesn’t think so. Gwen and her son Kingston went for a mommy/son mani/pedi yesterday in Los Angeles. Kingston opted for blue polish while Gwen went red. Dad, Gavin was off shopping by himself at the Nike store in Beverly Hills. Maybe he gets his manicures done at home.

What do you think? Are we totally off the mark with this? Do you think it’s okay to pamper kids in this way?

    I think it is incredibly rude to be so critical of Kingston going to the nail salon with his Mom.FYI,both Gwen and Gavin have said in interviews that Gwen taking Kingston to the nail salon is just another fun way to spend time together;Gwen has said that she loves spending time with her children and that if they want to go with her to places like the salon,then they can.Kingston obviously does,so I don’t see anything wrong with it.

    Still trying too hard to turn this cute little BOY into a chick.

    And Rosemarie – my wife took our kids to the salon with her too, they read books, played cards or played on their Gameboys they didnt have their toenails done. Its creepy and weird.

    She already has been bleaching his hair forever. He is not a natural platinum blond and has roots like mommy. He would look cuter as a little boy but they appear to be trying to make him metrosexual. Let him decide whether he was an over the top look when he’s older or he might not be happy about it one day!
