Don’t be alarmed by the news that Gerard Butler is up for a fashion award. It’s from Scotland. Now listen people, don’t get all up in our grill about being mean to the Scots. We don’t have anything against them it’s just that don’t have an enormous choice of people to pick from. Tilda Swinton made the list. Okay. And judging by our exclusive pics of Butler checking out art in New Orleans, they didn’t look at these photos when they were making their decision.

Gerard was in NOLA with two pals checking out the art scene in Jackson Square. It’s a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Butler is in the big easy shooting a movie called Playing the Field which also stars Catherine Zeta-Jones. But you don’t have to wait until that movie comes out to see the fashion icon on the big screen. Butler’s movie Machine Gun Preacher is due in theaters this fall.
