The L.A. County Sheriff’s office just had a press conference regarding Christina Aguilera’s arrest. They said they’re not going to pursue a case against her. From the sound of it, Christina was taken into custody because she was super drunk. She wasn’t involved “in any criminal activity” and they released her as soon as she sobered up. Or as they put it, when she could “safely take care of herself.” Unfortunately that doesn’t seem possible for Aguilera lately.

Xtina’s boyfriend Matthew Rutler is still being held on $30,000 bail for a DUI, which is a much more serious offense.
