Boy, Katie Holmes sure is looking perky these days, isn’t she? We don’t mean “perky” in the sarcastic-pointy-boob sense; rather she seems genuinely happy lately – in fact there’s almost a glow. Naturally whenever we use a phrase like that we instantly look down to the celeb’s midsection, but Katie doesn’t appear to have any bun baking in her oven. If she did, those leather leggings would be extra commendable.

INF Daily caught Mrs. Tom Cruise exiting the Bowery Hotel last night in New York. Katie’s been in the city with daughter Suri for almost a week, and no one knows why. Unless getting over 3,000 miles away from her spouse is a reason why. We kid, of course. Katie put in some time on the Vancouver set of Mission Impossible 4 last week. Still… that guy’s got a lot of energy. We wouldn’t blame Holmes if she needed a long-distance breather.
