Hey, we know it’s been a while, but remember these guys? Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva? Let’s all take a break from our long national nightmare of wall-to-wall Charlie Sheen and harken back to this fiasco of a relationship. Ah yes…the domestic violence, Mel’s crazy rantings – it’s all coming back now.

Well, after a long deliberation, The Los Angeles District Attourney’s office decided that they didn’t have enough evidence to prosecute Mel’s ex Oksana Grigorieva with charges of extortion. Mel, on the other hand will have to face a judge for his mideameanor battery charge where he is expected to plead no contest. Of course, he won’t end up with jail time. He’ll get a slap on the wrist, some community service and counseling.

Wouldn’t it be great if he had to clean the freeway of litter? Oh, wait no, there’s too much traffic in LA as it is. Nevermind. We caught up with Oksana as she took their daughter Lucia to Gymboree. Oksana was quite content as she held her baby close. It’s a great day for the Russian born pianist – she can move forward with her life.
