Nothing useful happened in Lindsay Lohan’s court hearing today – with the exception of LiLo’s suuuuper tight beige dress/unsupportive bra combo. Prior to today’s appearance, Lindsay stated that she wasn’t ready to cop a plea if it involved any jail time, so next up will be her preliminary hearing.

There it will be decided if the prosecution has enough evidence to go forward with the felony grand theft case against LiLo for stealing that ugly necklace. At that time it’ll also be decided whether the likely theft meant Lohan violated her probation from an old DUI conviction.

Lindsay does stand a chance of acquittal: the owners of the boutique where she stole the necklace sold the security tape of the incident to Entertainment Tonight for $35,000. Lohan’s team is claiming that shows they set her up in order to profit from the publicity.

The judge also gave a shout out to the blogs, wondering how we get information that’s strictly confidential. He noted his wife doesn’t know the things bloggers find out, and admonished everyone to keep their mouths shut. Somehow, we don’t see that happening.
