INF Daily caught up with an extremely distraught Kate Major last night at LAX, and she was not a happy camper. The previous night her on again/off again boyfriend Michael Lohan was arrested by the LAPD on domestic violence charges.

On Monday Kate and Michael got into a fight that turned physical, and Kate showed evidence of her injuries to police. She says Lohan grabbed her shoulder and threw her across the room, choked her with a towel, and threatened to harm himself and tell cops she did it if she called police.

Luckily Major called them anyway, and Michael was arrested on three felony charges: inflicting corporal injury on a co-habitant, false imprisonment, and preventing the report of victimization. When we found her at LAX Kate was wearing an anti-violence t-shirt, crying and smoking a cigarette. She was also carrying of copy of Jennifer Love Hewitt’s book, “The Day I Shot Cupid: Hello, My Name Is Jennifer Love Hewitt and I’m a Love-aholic.” Hopefully that’ll help Kate rid herself of Michael Lohan for good.
