Round 2 For Jake Gyllenhaal & Taylor Swift?

One of Jake Gyllenhaal or Taylor Swift’s reps seem to want the public to think they’ve got a chance of rekindling their romance. People is reporting that the two were recently spotted having dinner together, and you know People doesn’t print much of anything without making sure it’s PR-approved.

Jake and Taylor met in Nashville on Wednesday and had dinner at a restaurant called Bound’ry – which is close to her condo. The whole thing was supposedly super platonic, according to not one but two witnesses. “‘They were cordial to one another, but not affectionate.’” The other source says they were chatty and friendly. But come on, let’s read between the lines a little. This is Nashville, not L.A. It’s not like they both happened to be bored and decided to go out together. Odds seem pretty good Jake flew to Nashville to see Taylor. Obviously he’s allowed to go wherever he wants without a reason. We’re just saying… why would that be Nashville?

    This whole thing is so phony and set up, pretty much like those photos. Do either of their camps actually believe for a second that anyone with a nuance of intelligence would think this “relationship” was genuine? You kind of expect it from Taylor but Jake’s turned into such a hypocrital attention seeker. He says he dislikes the attention yet he partakes in a fauxmance for publicity with a huge tweeny pop star. Now, because the press made him out to be a jerk who dumped a perpetual 12 year old over the phone, he’s attempting to do damage control. No one bought that they were a couple in the first place, so why keep dragging it out? It makes them both look narcissistic. BTW, you only go to the Bound’ry if you want to be seen so they obviously planned on being noticed.
