INF Daily caught up with Regis Philbin in Miami airport yesterday. Philbin, who travelled with his wife Joy, went down there to attend the National Association of Television Program Executives. What a perfect place to host the conference in the middle of winter!

Regis recently announced that he’s leaving his show, Live with Regis and Kelly. Now, rumors are swirling that he made this decision because of salary cuts. But Reg was quick to point out that money had nothing to do with it. He said he made his decision a long time ago, adding that 28 years on the job was quite enough. There is still no word on his future plans or who will fill his shoes on the show now that he’s leaving.
