In a wacky twist of events, Lindsay Lohan has been released from the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, CA and is setting up shop next door to her ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson. Our cameras caught up with the moving trucks bringing boxes of her stuff from West Hollywood to her new Venice Beach digs.

Of course, her release may be short lived. There was that altercation Lindsay had with the Betty Ford staff worker recently and that may land her back in court. Not playing nice with people is considered a violation of probation and authorities will send their investigators to the District Attourney’s office to see if Linds should face battery charges. The staff worker, Dawn Holland, who was fired from the Betty Ford Center now says she will not cooperate with the investigation and wants to drop the charges. It’s crazy to think, all of this could have been avoided if Lindsay just found a designated driver to take her home back in 2007. And didn’t carjack a stranger’s vehicle, run over a guy’s foot, and chase her ex-assistant’s mom at high speeds through the streets of Los Angeles. There’d be no arrests, no rehab, nothing. Hindsight is 20/20 for sure.
