Elton John and husband David Furnish officially debuted their new son, Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John, on the covers of Us Weekly (in the U.S.) and the British version of OK. The two pictures are very similar, though Elton seems to have received a little extra Photoshopping on the UK version. Zachary, who’s ten days old in the photos, is asleep in both pictures. Classic lazy showbiz type.

While celebs normally get ridiculously large sums of money for first photos of their babies, Elton and David are donating theirs to charity.

It sounds like they plan to do their best to avoid spoiling their boy, though we can’t help but think that won’t happen. If you told us the tabs on Zachary’s Huggies were bedazzled with diamonds we would absolutely believe you. The kid has his own apartment! Elton told the mags, “‘I’m ready to have a child and lavish my love on our son and not spoil him materially.’”
