There are a few rules one should follow when walking the red carpet. Jersey Shore’s Deena Cortese was kind enough to oblige us with photographic evidence of what not to do. First, wear a dress that actually flatters  your body shape. Consult a stylist if this sort of thing eludes you. Second: don’t scrunch your lips together in a Zoolander-esque pose. Unless you’ve got Blue Steel in your back pocket, a nice smile will do.

Third: don’t – please don’t – blow kisses. It’s cheesy. And it puts you in a very unflattering angle with your butt sticking way out and the aforementioned lip thing. Four: don’t do goofy poses for the camera. If you’re tempted, find some inner strength and walk away. Thank you Deena for demonstrating this for us. You’re dismissed now.
