It took us a while to come around to the idea of Taylor Swift dating Jake Gyllenhaal, but we’re starting to accept it. But come on. This über-wholesome couple spent one of their first dates apple picking in Queens. And they kept it almost as pure over Thanksgiving. Look at the two of them! So sweet we feel sick. If we were only a tad less jaded… nope. Still too cute to handle. We’re sure they’re dreaming about puppies and finger painting and sing alongs or something.

Taylor and Jake spent Thanksgiving with his sister Maggie Gyllenhaal, her husband Peter Sarsgaard, and their daughter Ramona. Not only did we catch Jake and Taylor walking about all lovey-dovey (with the requisite cartoon sparrows chirping around their heads), but we also found Taylor out for a walk with Maggie and Ramona earlier on Thanksgiving day. The three stopped by Brooklyn Larder to pick up some fancy cheeses before heading home to make dinner. Which didn’t stop Taylor and Jake from popping out again to grab a few last-minute ingredients. Hopefully they were considerate enough to leave their love sparrows outside instead of making his family witness all that saccharine happiness.
