Kate Gosselin Resolves To Find A New Man In Her Life

Kate Gosselin wants a man. With all of Kate’s chores and tanning responsibilities – not to mention being a mom to 8 children – one might wonder where she would find the time to date anyone. She’s a busy woman! But Kate has resolved that 2011 will be the year that she gets herself a boyfriend.

We’re not sure if this is a ruse to squash rumors about her and bodyguard Steve Nelid, but we don’t think the kids will mind. They don’t see Kate all that much anyway, so they probably won’t notice when she goes out on dates at night. And she’ll have plenty of dates. Who wouldn’t want someone who spends her days tanning, jogging, filling up the family van with gas, and running errands – all in front the camera?. Someone will no doubt be drawn to Kate’s rugged ways after watching her stint on Sarah Palin’s show. And if that isn’t enough evidence of just how lovely Ms. Gosselin can be, there’s all that footage of her on the old Jon and Kate Plus 8. It’s a real feast for the eyes! Take a number boys. This is gonna be a long line.

    “They don’t see her all that much?” LOL. I can understand why you’d want to perpetuate that lie, it gets the haters flocking here, but, really, do you know how often they see the mother who has primary custody of her children? She’s with them unless their father is, or unless she’s doing something for work. Tanning or getting your nails done is not something that takes her AWAY from her kids. Most Moms do take a couple of hours for themselves. It’s not a big deal, unless Kate’s doing it. JLo’s away from her twins while she does AI, that’s taking a lot of time and work – are you saying that SHE’S away from her kids when she’s doing that job that is doesn’t need to do? Nope. :)

    These are the pics that were reported by people waiting at the gas pump that Kate stood around and waited for Chris and then started pumping. So obvious she lets him know where she is going to be. Just cant stand not having her ugly mug on as many sites as she can. Poor kids stick with this witch for a mother

    I used to be a Klover until I saw that Kate still has the big spoon on the inside passenger side door of the van and that she waits for Chris to show up before she starts pumping gas. Can you believe it? She calls the paps and then acts like they are intruding in her life. Just cant handle being out of the spotlight eh Kate.     Judges make mistakes or circumstances can alter their ruling at a later date. I can very easily see this happening in the future because when it comes to custody cases it’s always a fluid situation and nothing is set in cement. Every time Kate speaks or makes a public/TV show appearance she takes that shovel and digs that hole just a little deeper. I know, Monty, you have a hip pocket full of excuses to justify Kate’s behavior and why it’s okay for her to act like a selfish child throwing her little tantrums, but there is no VALID excuse for that kind of behavior from an adult. It’s just who Kate is and it’s disgraceful. If you want to continue to use this argument (Kate’s not an abuser because the judge said so) as undisputable fact then I have to ask: Do you agree that the Gosselin children are WORKING when being filmed? The law in the state of PA says so and that is why they’re required to have WORK permits. And the majority of the time the kids spend with their mother (outside of school) is spent WORKING.

    Off to Australia & New Zealand – just as the rumors predicted. I can’t believe this – that’s a lot of school to miss. Think they have tutors? Thought Jon was going to spend New Year’s with them? He couldn’t stop this? Or it wasn’t worth it? There’s no way I would let my children fly across the world without me being there . . . don’t care if there’s 15 “nannies” and a film crew . . . 22 hour minimum flight time away from my children – not gonna happen!! I was a nervous wreck leaving my 19 year old when I flew to Germany!

    I feel very, very sorry for those children. I went to Australia from San Francisco in August and it was 14 hours. I fly internationally a lot, but that was brutal. They will be 20 hours off their time zone. And for what? Who watches that crap – nobody can relate to this family and their many, many trips anymore, especially in this economy. Poor kids. Where is their DAD? Who is protecting these kids?

    Kate has been given the legal right to keep the kids working and I’m not sure Jon can do anything about that until or unless there’s a change in the court order. It’s awful that these kids have to work during Christmas break, especially with the problems they’re having behaviorally and with school, but I don’t see that there’s much Jon can do about it. He went to court and the judge ruled against him.

    Sadly, you are right. I hope this little jaunt gets a judge thinking that the kids need a guardian ad litem. Missing school to be filmed on the other side of the globe is not in their best interests. I just spent a week in Sydney and loved it. But you know what? The kids could visit a zoo, aquarium, bridge, museum, and beach right here in America, and have been filmed doing exactly that already. Although Wildlife World and the aquarium are fantastic, I can’t imagine little 6-year-olds will see a difference between the zoos they’ve already visited. And do you know how much first class tickets that far are? About 10 grand each – my spouse travels first class all the time. That’s a lot of dough for the same old show, different locale. AGAIN.

    How do you know if the kids don’t have a GAL? It is not only the judge that can request one but Kate or Jon can request one..they may have one. We don’t know what goes on in court all we can do is speculate by what we see.

    When Jon and Kate were in court this past Oct. the two kids were already out of school and the judge was aware of this, yet he gives Kate the right to make decisions regarding filming. There is a reason Kate is given this and a reason she is given primary custody. I believe Jon loves his kids, but he wants visitation, not custody. He wants to be the fun parent who takes them to arcades not the parent who has the responsibility to raise them.

    Sandy, I do not think filming of the kids is work. Yes, they call their permits ‘work’ permits. But that language was written in the state of PA before reality tv, or even television existed..it was for movie and stage work. I think working on a scripted movie, play, or tv series is work. Those kids have to memorize lines, cry and laugh on cue, and do lighting and marking. The Gosselin kids are filmed doing pretty much what they want with disregard to where they are standing or saying. New legislation is being drafted in PA, but if you read it, it is not going to stop reality tv or the filming of kids.

    The kids filmed on Halloween and in Philadelphia…that is 2 times since last August. Their filming is no where close to other reality shows with kids, and it is not the majority of the time.

    How do you know what Jon does and does not want? We don’t know what goes on in Jon’s head and all you are doing is speculating, right? You say we don’t know what goes on in court and can only speculate and then you turn around and contradict yourself by saying “the judge was aware of this”. How do you KNOW what the judge did and did not know?

    Unfortunately, new legislation that will better protect reality show children is probably a matter of too little too late for the Gosselin children. Their social/behavioral problems have already begun. They don’t know what life is like without cameras consistently filming everything they do. Hopefully new laws will be passed and ENFORCED that will limit the number of hours a child can film.

    Sorry, Monty, but when there is direction where to stand, sit, etc. and when there are “re-takes” to get the scene just right, it’s not reality, it’s a TV show, script or no script.

    Which other reality shows are you referring to and how much do they film compared to the Gosselins? Jon also has the kids part of this time for their visitation and much of their weekday is spent in school or traveling to and from. How many hours in a week do you suppose Kate actually spends with the kids when they aren’t filming? You know, just for fun.

    Thanks to TLC’s high powered lawyers, Jon LOST his right to STOP TLC from filming their G8. Momster Dearest probably cried buckets of tears, insisting the kids absolutely needed to continue filming for economic reasons because she has a purseful of bills and NO $$ to pay….or some kind of BULLSH*T story. LIES, LIES, LIES…she is the MASTER of deception!

    I seriously doubt they do. Two have been kicked out of school, both parents have stated publicly that the kids are having issues, and now they are on a 20+ hour plane ride and will miss more school to go on this trip that doesn’t need to happen.
    I want to revise my statement of yesterday when I said that I am entertained by the comments of you and others like you. Actually, I’m disgusted. You all think the kids don’t work, or it’s only a handful of specials, etc., etc., etc., but there have been credible eyewitnesses who said they have watched the kids do take after take, over hours and hours. In the heat. In the wind. In the cold. Yet y’all make excuse after excuse for it. Would you want your own children treated like a unit of cattle?

    It is easy to assume what went on in court in regards to the judge knowing about the kids being out of school. The two had been out for some weeks at the court time…Jon would have told him.

    The legislation that is proposed did not mention the hours only to state that filming could take place between the hours of 7 am and 10 pm….that is what is on the books now and what was in Murts proposal.

    The Duggars film a lot more than the Duggars, including a very ill premature infant in the NICU. Jon’s visitation is every other weekend. I would imagine that Kate spends as much time with her kids as any other single parent whose spouse has visitation. Kate is lucky that she does not have to take her kids to daycare from 6 in the morning until 6 at night like millions of working mothers, so in that regard she gets to spend more time with them than those other single working moms.

    But you don’t KNOW what the judge did and did not know. You are only assuming. It’s also easy to assume that Kate is not looking out for the best interest of the kids when she drags them all over the world to work and she seems to have no qualms about removing them from school at a time when some if not all are struggling. 6yr. olds do not get expelled unless something is seriously wrong in their life.

    Unfortunately the PA dept of labor didn’t ENFORCE their laws since the Gosselin children were filmed in previous episodes during early morning hours and late night hours.

    She doesn’t even have an f’ing job, yet the kids are gone from 6:30 to 4:00 5 days a week. Why can’t she get a job that doesn’t involve pimping her children? With that school schedule, she needs very little child care and could work weekends when the kids are with Jon. Can you say lazy bitch. A real job might interfere with her self maintenance schedule, you know, tanning, nails, boob jobs, lipo, lip injections, ect.

    Sandy, I think it is a pretty good assumption…more of a given… that it was brought to the judges attention that 2 of the kids were not in school, since the hearing was about the kids and custody issues.

    Rep. Murt of PA had hearings about the past and proposed legislation for PA. Also presented was another bill put forth from the Democrats which in my opinion has a better chance of pasage as it was more all encompassing, and addressed issues for all working minors in the state and not just focused on the Gosselins.

    Whichever bill is passed the show will still be filmed without much difference than what is happening now. Besides PA does not have any jurisdiction over them filming in Australia.

    I don’t count heads, and if I did what difference does it make? I don’t think they rotate the kids out. They film whatever is happening, whether it is the preemie in the NICU or one of the little ones getting her face stiched. The kids are still being filmed just like the Gosselins. Also, I don’t believe there are any permits issued for the Duggar kids or even if Arkansas requires them. I will look into how many episodes per season are filmed..but I do know it is way more than the Gosselins, as the Duggars are weekly and the Gosselins are now specials.

    Sandy, this has nothing to do with the kids being filmed, it is Kate and the hate for her. There are many other kids on reality and nothing is made of it.

    Yes, the GAL would investigate BOTH parents and let’s be honest, BOTH parents have some explaining to do. But just as important if not moreso, the GAL would speak directly and confidentially to each child and seriously consider their choices, opinions and concerns as relevant. The response of the children can carry a lot of weight in the decision making process, as it should be.

    Well, I totally missed the point on this because the first sentence is such a broad statement calling everyone a hater that it really means nothing because obviously that’s not true. I don’t think you can lump everyone under a single umbrella of hate. There’s many different reasons why people are emotional and vocal about the Gosselin family. Did it ever occur to you that people can have little to no respect for, or even “hate” Kate Gosselin and yet still be concerned about the health and welfare of these particular children? Especially considering the problems they’re having. You can’t order people to not feel.

    This is a Gosselin article so it’s a Gosselin conversation. As far as other reality shows I believe many have their own fan clubs as well as their groups of “haters”, but we all can’t be everywhere all the time now can we? Sorry, but you don’t get to choose what’s important to me.

It is because no one can answer as to why the Gosselin kids are more worthy of your concern than the other reality show kids. Yes, there are small discussions about lets say the Duggars. but they never talk about Micheles toe,eyes, boobs, clothes, teeth, hair, cankles,shoes, and so on.

    The judge can request a GAL. I defend Kate because she has a right to live her life, live in a house she chooses, wear her hair and clothes the way she wants, and raise her kids how she sees fit. Unless you are willing to give up the way you choose to live your life…what right do you have to dictate how Kate chooses to live hers?

She does not set herself up for ridicule. The Duggars are not suffering the over exposure that the Gosselin 8 are, and they have a much more secure and stable home environment.     Sorry, Monty, but people DO talk about and have opinions on how the Duggar women dress, how they wear their hair, etc. If they don’t talk about the Duggar women’s boobs it’s because we’ve never seen them. Can’t say the same for Kate who supposedly started out being the role model for all moms. At least that’s how she was billed and promoted. I guess that’s changed now.

    When did I ever try to dictate how Kate should live her life? She does a damn fine job job of making herself look like a fool all on her own – who cares? I could not give less of a crap about Kate Gosselin. I do, however, feel for those kids. She is very much like my mother – all about control, gained by manipulation, fear, and abuse. She has a mean streak a mile long and she revels in it. When she’s getting a reaction, she just ratchets it up, camera crew or not. When she mocked her husband’s breathing and he looked down in shame, she laughed to the camera person. When her son was tearfully begging her not to throw away his favorite toy because it had gum on it, she spun herself up, while his older sister comforted him. I have no doubt that after she flung her kids’ belongings down the stairs, she left the heap there for them to see. My mom did the same thing, minus the stairs, but she wasn’t as bad as her friend and the mom of my best friend – who actually took the pile outside and lit it on fire because her kid dared defy her. She’s MEAN and acts like people deserve/earn it – that is what abusers do – and you all just justify it because Jon was a jerk, Jodi shouldn’t have given them gum, the kids should have cleaned their room……..hasn’t anything she’s done ever made you cringe? I recognize the looks on the kids’ faces and it is fear and uncertainty. I got away as fast as I could but all my brothers are drug addicts and alcoholics and my dad was married 4 more times after being with my mother!

    Really? Because they posted about this Australia trip being in the works, and that’s where the Gosselins are right now. They posted that Kate was a total witch on the Palin show, and she was. They posted she was in Mexico with her bodyguard, and she was. (Why she needs a bodyguard at all, much less at an exclusive resort in Mexico, is beyond me.) They posted that two kids were yanked out of school, and they were. Stop me anytime.
