What’s the deal with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s sudden freakish protection of their children from photographers? We understand keeping them away from angry bears, bottles of poison, and electrical outlets. But Brangelina has always accepted that their kids are going to be photographed, and they’ve been pretty cool about letting us snap some of their genuine family moments.

Earlier this month we shot adorable pictures and video of Shiloh, Zahara, and Pax zip-linning in Budapest. Look at how open and comfortable they all are!

Then this. What is this line of security shielding Angelina’s minivan from the public? How ridiculous and extreme does this look? We assume those pointy umbrellas shoot either bullets, poison darts, or lasers out of their tips. And it didn’t exactly work out well, since it was an afterthought.
