We found Taylor Swift out and about shopping in Los Angeles this weekend. Instead of hitting up the trendy stores on Melrose Avenue, Taylor was browsing at H&M, just like any other 20-year-old girl. Of course she isn’t any other girl – last night Swift performed at MTV’s VMA awards.

Taylor sang a moving song about Kanye West’s stage rushing incident last year. In it, she referred to him as “an innocent” and sympathized with the immense public scrutiny he’s gone through this past year. She did get in one teeny, tiny dig, pointing out that Kanye is 32 and “still growing up.” According to Us Weekly, Kanye and Taylor finally met and talked before the show – the first time they’d seen each other since last year’s incident. No word on what happened, other than they reportedly made a truce.
