Whoever knew Wilford Brimley was such a style icon? Clearly Mel Gibson thinks so – and if Mel Gibson holds you in high esteem, you’ve got it made. Mel was on his way to shoot a commercial for Liberty Medical home from a meeting when we caught up with him wearing an insane disguise to try to fool us. Say what you want about the paparazzi, but they have very keen eyes. Can you believe we were able to spot Gibson through this brilliant costume?

After driving around for 15 minutes in an attempt to lose our photographers, Gibson finally pulled over and engaged in a priceless exchange. It was probably the proudest we’ve ever been of one of our photogs – he didn’t back down to Mad Mel, even though we could tell his blood was boiling. They two engaged in a battle of wits for a few minutes before a glib Gibson got back into his car and drove away.
