For those of you that claim Jessica Simpson isn’t really dumb and she’s just playing it up, all we can say is she’s doing a mighty good job. This morning we caught Jess a few blocks from the INF Daily offices in Manhattan. She was leaving the Ritz Carlton wearing some super high Christian Louboutin cheetah print heels. You can probably guess where this is going.

Though the city is filled with sidewalk grates, Jess managed not to notice until the very last minute, when she was just about to walk on one. And thus get her heel stuck in it – best case scenario. You never know, once in a while those things just cave in, and we’re pretty sure a jammed Christian Louboutin would be the thing to cause it.

Luckily Simpson’s friend caught her in time and pointed her in the right direction, holding Jess by the hand as she unsteadily made her way across a 6 inch wide section of concrete.
