INF Daily found Jessica Simpson out and about wearing a short sparkly dress in New York this morning. Last night we caught Jess and her new-ish boyfriend Eric Johnson leaving their hotel as they headed to dinner with the Simpson family. The whole clan is in town to help Jessica launch her new “Show Me Your Blues” denim line during New York City’s Fashion Week. The two looked like they were in great spirits as they walked to their awaiting car – Eric protectively watching over Jess the whole time.

Simpson and Johnson headed to Dos Caminos and met up with younger sis Ashlee, her husband Pete Wentz, their son Bronx, and Jessica’s parents. Earlier in the day Jess tweeted her thanks to brother-in-law Pete for deejaying her fashion show, writing, “You were the best DJ ever bro!”
