What a strange celebrity pairing Leonardo DiCaprio and Naomi Campbell make. Leonardo is an environmentalist, frequent volunteer, and starred in the movie Blood Diamonds, which introduced the general public to the brutal history behind conflict diamonds (mass rape, murder, and slavery are still their result). Naomi Campbell just finished testifying at the Hague in former Liberian president Charles Taylor’s war crimes trial. Her testimony revolved around several blood diamonds Taylor gave her in 1997.

Naomi Campbell essentially pleaded ignorance about everything having to do with the diamonds – which no one is buying. So why is Leo DiCaprio hanging out with her? We caught the two (along with Leo’s girlfriend, Israeli model Bar Refaeli) hanging on a yacht in Porto Cervo Sardegna, Italy yesterday. They both looked to be having a wonderful time – clearly blood diamonds were the furthest thing from their minds.
