Gwen Stefani and husband Gavin Rossdale celebrated the second birthday of their son Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale in Los Angeles on Saturday. Zuma looked predictably chill, as he usually does. And Gavin appeared to be in great spirits, smiling for the cameras. Big brother Kingston played around with a wooden bike in the front yard. But mama Gwen appeared to be either exhausted or in a foul mood. She kept to herself, her face downturned as she brought presents into the home.

There’s a lot of speculation going on that Gwen and Gavin are having problems in their marriage after Courtney Love revealed she slept with Gavin right before he married Gwen. According to several reports, No Doubt’s next album has a lot of songs dealing with Gwen’s negative feelings about Gavin, so he’s told her to stop writing about him. Might be simple speculation – but they sure don’t look close and cuddly here.
