It looks like it was too good to be true – Bristol Palin has broken up with Levi Johnston, hopefully forever. Bristol says they’ve only seen each other once since they announced to the world they were engaged again. Since then, Levi’s possibly fathered a child with another teenage girl (which the girl denies, but Levi admitted it was a possibility), taken off for Hollywood to shoot a music video, and generally done nothing but enjoy the limelight.

Bristol’s selling her home and is living with her parents Sarah and Todd Palin in Wasilla, Alaska for now. Ex VP candidate Palin told People, “‘I wish for Bristol to be able to move forward in life with her same forgiving, gracious, optimistic spirit, but from henceforth she’ll know to trust but verify. Bristol is strong, she is independent, and she knows what is right for her son.’”
