INF Daily was lucky enough to be invited to attend the big party for Project Runway’s season 8 premiere last night. Held on the swanky pool deck of the Empire Hotel in Manhattan, the party featured all 18 of this season’s designer contestants, and of course Heidi Klum. Rocking designer Betsey Johnson showed up to support her good friend Heidi, and nearly stole the show – she is one energetic lady.

Project Runway moves from Bravo to Lifetime this season and will be 90 minutes long instead of an hour. We won’t give away any spoilers, but we can’t help but admire what a great job Project Runway does of keeping the challenges fresh. The energy is as good as ever, and this is one of the few reality shows that really can justify an hour and a half slot.
