Exclusive: Kate Gosselin Takes the Kids to The Alaska Zoo

Jon Gosselin recently tweet-complained about not seeing his eight kids this week, and INF has exclusive pictures showing why: ex-wife Kate has packed up the kids (and two bodyguards) and headed to Alaska to film Kate Plus Eight.  Yesterday we found the family sauntering around The Alaska Zoo in Anchorage and the kids seemed to be having a great time. All of the sextuplets were in matching red or pink vests and jeans while twins Cara and Maddy wore teal sweatshirts and cargo pants. Kate was in a stylish black vest – very sleek. We’re sure she’s already missing her manicure and tanning appointments. She’s not really pulling off the rugged outdoorsy look all that convincingly.

In related Gosselin news, a representative from Pennsylvania’s Department of Labor recently approved the work permits for the six younger kids, and ruled that neither Kate Gosselin nor TLC have “unlawfully exploited” the kids. There was some controversy over their permits since kids under seven can get them (with certain restrictions) for working on films – but the wording of the law seemed to rule out TV. Nonetheless, it looks like that mini-drama is behind the Gosselins now since the state says everything is copacetic.

    Haha, those hags at RWA thought her 15 minutes was up, because she has not been in the news, and the whole time, she escaped the paps and was in Alaska. Hey RWA hags, get a life will you!!!

    All those pics and not one smile from one kid. Can’t they go to the zoo close to home? They look exhausted. PA is a heck of a long trip from AK. I hope they get to stay home and enjoy some time there this summer – without cameras rolling.

    No hand holding, no smiles for the kids. The usual finger pointing to direct the the kids so K+8′s production goes Katie’s way. The usual stone face look around the kids, unless she the paps addresses her directly or she’s talking with Steve. Poor kids, hope the trips are creating good memories. If not, we’ll read about it in the Gosselin 8 memoirs in the future. “I Just Want the World to KNOW What Really Happened Behind the Scenes of K+*.” I’d buy that.

    I feel bad for the kids, it seems their trips for filming has left them exhausted looking and unhappy. Why can’t Kate see this? They never look happy when they are with her….one day the truth will come out and they will be writing books about her and exploiting their mother as payback. I’d buy that book!!

    Those kids looked TOTALLY MISERABLE. This was suppose to be a fun trip? Looked more like Kate forced them to come along.

    No smiles, no holding hands, the kids looked very sad in all of the photos. Kate too.

    The Kids Are Probably SO TIRED. No Hand Holding, No Rope, No Anything. There are PLENTY Of Zoos In PA! It Just Breaks My Heart To See NO SMILES. EVEN FROM AADEN. The ANIMAL LOVER. Look At Cara Camrea. I cant even get a camrea that expensive! She’s Dresing them The same Aagain I Geuss, but it still breaks my heart.

    You guys are so crazy! The kids look “miserable?” Kids who don’t smile when the paps invade their space are miserable? Those kids KNOW that the paps aren’t their friends. Just because you didn’t SEE them smile or hold Mommy’s hand in any photos doesn’t mean they NEVER smiled or NEVER held Mommy’s hand. In the previous story when none of them were smiling with Daddy and his girlfriend, did you think they were miserable too? More reason to be miserable hanging with Daddy’s squeeze than to be miserable at the ZOO, right? The haters are so pathetic. Do your kids smile all day long? If they do, maybe you should take them to a doctor. Do you smile all day long? Probably only while typing hateful things about a Mom that you don’t know but envy so very much.

    They’re on a TRIP! They’re sightseeing. They’re at the ZOO! Are you losers really trying to find a way to say these kids are unhappy on a trip or exhausted? They are like any other family who goes on a trip. You find a way to spin it to make the kids seem so very unhappy – you are the ones who are unhappy. And jealous! One of you even coveted Cara’s CAMERA – saying it’s so expensive and you don’t have one. OH, MY! You don’t even attempt to hide your envy. They look like any other family with six and nine year olds. The kids aren’t going to smile all the time, it doesn’t mean they’re miserable or exhausted. Do any of you HAVE kids? If you did, would you be making those sorts of comments? I think you might, because you’re that hateful. I saw pics of Suri in Toronto with her Mom yesterday. Not SMILING. Oh, she must be miserable. And she was running from her Nanny and bodyguards! Oh, that must mean she wants to run away from the misery of being Katie’s daughter, get a false i.d. and move to Quebec – far far away from her life as a “Cruise kid.”

    I wish you naysayers would just leave Kate alone! I love the show, seeing the kids grow up and all their antics. I was so sad when Jon wouldn’t let them film. So glad they are back on now. Kate is a beautiful woman and I just love her to pieces. Wish when I was a young married woman that I had been more assertive like she is/was. Kate, YOU GO GIRL!!!

    These kids are beautiful — I have watched them from the beginning –how many of us would have persevered like Kate did in her pregnancy to deliver them — she made that family survive b/c of her strong will — she is making money to put 8 kids through college — she will prevail and the kids will be appreciative in the end — Jon almost put them on welfare, but he knows now that was not the proper road to take

    Just read”Kate can’t hack sleeping in a tent in AK” The article said she had a total meltdown in front of Palin. She stayed 2hours out of a 2day planned trip. She complained about everything and of course cried.

    The kids don’t smile when the paps “invade” their space? They wouldn’t have to worry about having their pictures taken if their witch of a mother hadn’t sold their childhoods. The kids have no say in this matter. They don’t exist for your entertainment.They should have been allowed to have normal lives. It’s too late for that now. You Kate lovers crack me up. The woman is evil.
