For a man that just had a baby – and seemingly a very planned baby, at that – Cristiano Ronaldo sure seems to be living an unencumbered, leisurely life. Today we caught Cristiano hanging by the pool at a downtown NYC hotel on a 95 degree afternoon. And we’re not going to lie, we enjoyed his itty bitty bathing suit.

But we’re really wondering where that baby is. Who goes on vacation alone right after announcing that you have a one-month-old son who you have exclusive guardianship over? We don’t expect Ronaldo to be with the kid 24/7, but it doesn’t even seem like his son is with him in New York. And he’s brand new! By all appearances Ronaldo’s life is exactly the same now as it was before he had a kid. He also supposedly shelled out up to $20 million to his surrogate, and his mom and sister are reportedly going to raise the child. Such a strange story, all the way around.
