Former Gossip Girl actress Taylor Momsen and her band Pretty Reckless performed all over New York City yesterday. They started their morning on Good Day New York, then ended the day at the Nylon Magazine party at the Puma Social Club at South Street Seaport in the evening. Such hectic running around… no wonder Taylor forgot her pants! Luckily she had her thigh highs and garters to keep her modesty intact. Otherwise her outfit would have been totally inappropriate for a 16-year-old.

Momsen is actually getting some decent reviews for Pretty Reckless’ first EP. As the New York Post noted, she can’t act but she can sing. They said the songs are, “filled all kinds of vocal raspy brilliance,” and “Think early Courtney Love mixed with Jet-like guitar riffs and The Veronicas’ vocal backings.” As everyone knows, there’s nothing Taylor Momsen hates more than being compared to Courtney Love, but it’s bound to happen. Of course it would happen less if she’d remember to put on a pair of jeans before she left the house in the morning.
