Who but Taylor Lautner could make walking through an airport look so sexy? INF Daily spotted the Twilight: Eclipse hottie at JFK in NYC last night as he prepared for a week promoting the franchise’s latest film and New York premiere. The burly actor needed two bodyguards to protect him – literally holding him by the arms – from all the Twihards.

This morning Taylor was on The Today Show, followed by Live with Regis & Kelly. He’s talking up the film – which opens in the U.S. on Wednesday -though he certainly doesn’t need to. Not only does Twilight have legions of loyal fans, but it’s getting great reviews – especially Lautner. The Hollywood Reporter praised, “…it’s Lautner who nearly steals the movie with his ripped muscle and steely acting. He definitely has the “it” factor Hollywood always looks for.” Even Robert Pattinson commented on Taylor’s muscular frame, describing a scene where he was supposed to attack Taylor, noting, “I grabbed, but his shoulder is too big to get a grip on. That was embarrassing.”

Yet Taylor Lautner still needs two bodyguards. Which says something about the sheer power of a thousand Twihards.
