Lights Go Out on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ as Seth Rogen Tries to Premiere ‘Green Hornet’ Trailer
INF Daily found Seth Rogen as he was arriving for a taping of Jimmy Kimmel Live in Los Angeles yesterday. Seth was preparing to premiere the trailer for the hotly anticipated Green Hornet movie. A lot of coordinating went into the premiere, as it was also being shown to a packed press audience earlier in the day, then to the general public on Jimmy Kimmel, and then finally online later last night.
Unfortunately the lights went out in the Jimmy Kimmel control room, broadcast transmission center, and tape operations area about an hour before taping. Instead of scrapping the show, Kimmel decided to film it using his laptop’s webcam. They obviously couldn’t put it out live, so we’ll watch the results when the show is aired on Wednesday. The set had power, so we’ll be able to see Seth Rogen chatting with Jimmy – but from a webcam. Hey, it could be interesting! Until then, here’s the Green Hornet trailer.
