Super-fit mom of eight Kate Gosselin packed up the kids and headed out for some ice cream in the brutal Pennsylvania heat yesterday afternoon. Wondering if Kate bought herself a cool treat? It appears not: we counted eight slushies and ice cream sundaes, and we doubt Kate left out just one kid. It doesn’t look like she’s partaking of many sweets these days. Not only does she look even more fit and trim than she did on Dancing With the Stars, but Kate recently told INF Daily’s photographer that she runs five miles a day most days of the week and eats healthily. We can tell!

After the ice cream pit stop the family took off for nearby Lancaster  and descended upon The Farming Supply Center to pick up some supplies for their new chicken coop.

In other Gosselin news, dad Jon just revealed his douchy new dragon tattoo to Radar. He says it symbolizes his rebirth. A dragon tattoo and rebirth? Creativity just leaks out of this guy.
