Janet Jackson on the Set of Tyler Perry’s ‘For Colored Girls’

INF Daily found Janet Jackson and Tyler Perry on the Harlem set of his new movie For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf. Janet cropped off her hair for her role as one of seven nameless women. The play is based on 20 poems about women’s issues such as love, abortion, rape, domestic violence, and death.

Each woman is referred to simply by the color she’s wearing. We’re guessing Janet is Lady in Red and Whoopi Goldberg is Lady in White. Mariah Carey dropped out of the film right before

shooting, only saying it was on her doctor’s orders – prompting speculation she’s pregnant.

For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf looks like it’s going to be amazing – it also stars Phylicia Rashad, Kerry Washington, Anika Noni Rose, and Loretta Devine.

I look forward to going to the movies to see this film. I am a huge fan of Tyler Perry and an even bigger fan of Janet Jackson. I think she’s an amazingly talented performer and a wonderful actress. I’ve been in love with her acting since Poetic Justice! I can’t wait till the trailer shows.
