It’s truly amazing how the douchetastic Spencer Pratt always manages to up his game. Just when you think he couldn’t be any more of a wang, he does something no normal person would ever even imagine. This weeks installment: telling TMZ that he’s glad wife Heidi Montag’s mother is in foreclosure.

Heidi Montag’s mother is facing a serious real estate problem back home in Colorado — and no one could be happier than her son-in-law Spencer Pratt.

TMZ has learned a bank in CO is foreclosing on an undeveloped piece of property owned by Heidi’s mom — Darlene Egelhoff — claiming she owes $187,385.62 on a $189k loan she took out in 2006.

When we reached out to Spencer for comment, he told us, "If that’s true … that is the best news I’ve heard all day long." (via TMZ)

In his (pathetic) defense, apparently Spencer still holds a grudge against Darlene for the way she reacted to Heidi’s shocking and tasteless 10-surgeries-in-a-day makeover.

On the premiere of The Hills, Heidi asks Darlene (who was clearly upset by her daughter’s choice), "Do I look good?" and Darlene responded, "How do I go ahead and say, of course, you were more beautiful before? I thought you were younger, I thought you were fresher looking, I thought you were healthier… what’s done is done, so that’s a terrible thing for me to say, but yes, that’s how I feel. I felt you were much more beautiful before, and I hope that some of this will fade away and go away."

It seems to be a common feeling that Spencer was the driving force behind Heidi’s surgeries. And he has a history of freaking out and attacking people if he feels even remotely criticized. This isn’t about him feeling defensive of his wife’s feelings. Spencer thinks Heidi is his property, so he feels he was the one attacked.
