The two former lovers had a long and tumultuous relationship, and an even more tumultuous breakup. It’s impossible to recap it was so ridiculous and over the top.

While we don’t necessarily think Samantha’s a bad person nor that she enabled Lindsay’s addictions, it’s clear that the relationship was chaotic and unstable. Since they’ve broken up Lindsay’s thrown a drink on Samantha in a club, screamed at her, screamed at their friends… there’s no reason whatsoever to believe they’ve remained civil.
