Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle has landed in New York…and her army of fans has been out in force.

Everybody loves a rags-to-riches story and Susan, who lives in a little village in Scotland with her devoted cat, has a great one to tell after she appeared on the UK talent show, X-Factor.

Susan has now made a CD, which is currently the most pre-ordered record in history, and she’s in Manhattan to perform on a string of shows and shamelessly promote herself.

Asked if she likes the Big Apple, Susan said: ”It’s fabulous…but I miss my cat back home.”
