Birthday boy Hugh Jackman was all smiles, as always, for photographers today when everyone wished him a happy 41st birthday.

Gentleman Hugh thanked the paps for the kind words…then he headed off to the gym, which is maybe his secret for looking so youthful.

Hugh is currently starring on Broadway alongside British actor, Daniel Craig, in the play A Steady Rain,  a tale about two Chicago cops whose lifelong friendship is put to the test when they become involved in a domestic dispute in a poor neighborhood.
