Kelly Ripa and Regis Philbin had good reason to cover up in their rain gear today…to avoid getting covered in hundreds of custard pies.

The morning TV due showed they will do anything for ratings, even dodging creamy pies as part of the world pie throwing contest held on the streets of NY today.
