Farrah Fawcett, star of TV’s Charlie’s Angels, has died after a long fight with cancer. She was 62.

Fawcett passed away at St. John’s Heath Center in Santa Monica, Calif.

She was with longtime partner Ryan O’Neal and a number of her closest friends.

"She’s gone. She now belongs to the angels," O’Neal tells PEOPLE, also confirming that she received the last rites of the Catholic Church. "She’s now with he mother and sister and her God. I loved her with all my heart. I will miss her so very, very much. She was in and out of consciousness. I talked to her all through the night. I told her how very much I loved her. She’s in a better place now."

Added O’Neal: "She was with her team when she passed … Her eyes were open, but she didn’t say anything. But you could see in her eyes that she recognized us."

Soon-to-be-divorced Kate Gosselin had some mommy time with daughter Cara today, taking a trip to the bank and the local UPS store, where she collected her weekly arrival of fan(hate)mail.

It’s not sure what the kids know yet about mom and dad’s plans to split, but both Kate and Jon have spoken of how their children’s welfare comes first.

Meanwhile, TLC tv chiefs have laughed off rumors that when the show starts filming again after a short break, Jon’s on-off girlfriend Deanna Hummel will have a guest role.

Absolutely not true they say.

Twilight star Robert Pattinson has been working hard on the set of his new movie, Remember Me, all this week in NYC.

And last night we caught up with him in downtown Manhattan looking like he’d just gone 10-rounds with Mike Tyson.

Turns out it was fake blood slapped on his face as part of a scene where he has an accident with a car.

Being a vampire, he’s clearly used to the sight of blood.

The woman who acted as surrogate for the couple, according to reports gave birth in Ohio today.

That means the babies, twin girls, could be back in NYC by the end of the week.

And the good thing for SJP, she can hit the ground running because she doesn’t have to shed the baby wait because she never had to eat for three. Way to go!!

…who knows, but there is a long line of haters who would love to beat 10 shades of c#@p out of this dude.

TV legend Ed McMahon has died after a long battle with cancer. He was 86.

He was TV’s most famous second banana, working in partnership with Johnny Carson on the famous Tonight Show, from 1962 to 1992.

He died at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in California this morning. McMahon had suffered a prolonged fight with cancer.

Someone connected with the family told TMZ, "Ed was at peace because he got his business taken care of. He settled his lawsuit with Cedars and with the settlement he was able to take care of his family."

Soon-to-be-divorced Kate Gosselin showed up back home today for the first time in four days.

Last night it was announced on the reality tv show that she and husband Jon are getting divorced and their 10 year marriage is over.

But it was back to normal today for Kate, visiting a local car showroom and bank as she ran a few errands.

Don’t think we’ll be seeing anymore pictures of her and Jon out as a couple from here on in.

Jennifer Aniston spotted twirling her hair and looking fantastic (as usual) while filming her latest film "Bounty Hunter" this morning in Atlantic City. She always has the best wardrobes doesn’t she?

Recently she has been linked to the Hangover star Bradley Cooper.. Could love be in the air for Jen? Could she be falling for another Brad?
