JACKO’S MOM SHOPS AT TARGET JUST HOURS AFTER SON’S DEATH

It’s a crazy world we live in…just ask the Jackson family.

You would think with all their fame and fortune, someone could have offered to run errands for Michael Jackson’s mom Katherine just hours after she had received the devastating news of her son’s death.

But NO! Instead, she headed off to Target in Los Angeles where she stocked up on sleeping bags, presumably for family and friends who will be jetting into California for Jacko’s funeral.

    hey dumbass – Michael was barely functioning as a parent, from what the nanny is saying the kids didnt have much bouncing from country to country. So I would imagine the Grandma being of a different generation were you DEAL with it by staying busy decided that she’d PERSONALLY go pick out what the babies needed. I understood the minute I saw it. These kids probably didnt have anything practical. And GRANDMA went out and saw to it that it got done correctly. And like MANY Americans they are experiencing financial problems, and the reality is their lives have become a bit more mundane.
    Have some compassion, people, it isnt just when YOU need some.

    She lives in this huge mansion with many bedrooms……..prolly for many family members or maybe the family members kids??

    She is a woman of strong faith who knows she will see her son again and grieves but “not as those without faith.” She is the Matriarch of a huge family and it is her duty to decide where all the children will be and take care of everyone. Micshaels’s kids will be meeting many cousins and Aunts and Uncles for the first time and she is in charge. She will grieve when she feels like, how she feels like it. Right now, the grandkids are her focus as Michael would have wanted it.

    she’s a mom, probably didn’t want to break down and so decided to take care of something or someone first (necessities of others that’s very mom-like i think) it’s not like she went to tiffany’s to give herself a treat or something, even so ever heard of retail therapy??

    Gosh the Jackson family are pretty strong..i as a fan of Michael could barely do anything, i was literally in tears most of the day. Its so sad….it will take me long to get over his death. His dad seems to be in no remorse…what an ass, he was at the BET awards smiling and trying to promote his new record label when in fact he should be mourning the loss of hid child, how cruel can that man be? NO wonder Michael always said he felt alone, i dont blame him. Michaels dad is more worried about making money than anything else. I hope Michael is resting in peace…MISS YOU MICHAEL:(

    My mother in law lost her youngest son nearly 6 years ago and she stayed strong all through the wake, funeral and for all the family that came. She was hurting and sad, but she said it all came crashing hard when everyone left. She said she just wanted to be strong for everyone and then what happened was she fell into a depression. I’m sure Michael’s mother is doing the same thing. Trying to stay on top of things, keep busy and be strong for the family. Once everything has died down she’ll really need support. And as for Michael’s father I can bet you he is in denial right now and he’ll have his falling soon too. It’s his son he’s hurting but he’s not the type to show it publicly.

    I probably would have done the same thing! It keeps her mind off of it for a bit, gives her something to do, and probably makes her feel good to get things for the rest of the family. It is hard time, I can only imagine. See Target really is therapy!

    Hmmm, it’s a really interesting article, but what i think is that she is shopping for michaels kids….. i agree with the comment above!
