NEW MOON FIRST PICTURES: ROBERT PATTINSON AND KRISTEN STEWART GET NAKED

The couple puckered up to film the latest scenes from the New Moon set.

But why in this scene where they re-unite is Edward shirtless??

    My guess is they’re filming the scene where Edward and Bella reunite just before he was going to show everyone in the town square his shimmering skin and expose himself as a vampire to grab the attention from the Volturi.

    He’s shirtless because, prior to this reunion, he was trying to commit suicide by exposing himself to the sun in a crowded circle. His sparkle would alert the humans that he was not human, thus breaking the one rule in vampire code: keep the secret. And he’d be dismantled by the ruling Volturi.

    H.A.W.T!!! I wonder how (or even if) they are going to tackle the kissing/relationship scenes in Breaking Dawn? I hope they don’t shy away from them because Rob & Kris have amazing chemistry & it’d be a crime to waste it.

    Kristen is such a fortunate girl – if she doesn’t fancy doing the next couple of movies, I’ll replace her!

    Rob looks great! Even ghostly pale, that man is still a total sex-bomb :D

    I think he has black dots on his face and body for the special effects people to go back and maybe add in the begining of a sparkle.
    My guess is that they are for special effects purposes.
    But– WHO CARES! Black dots all over him or not, he is FINE! Love me some Edward!

    He is shirtless because this is the scene where he is exposing himself to the sun, so the Volturi would kill him.

    The dots are there for the special effects they will do in post production. I’m assuming it’s to put the sparkling effect on him. Don’t forget Chris Weitz is a whiz at special effects and I’m sure it will look fabulous in the movie.

    I recall that they didnt kiss until they were back at her house when he was trying to convince her that he still wanted her…dont get me wrong but the whole part when they were in Italy Bella still thought that Edward didnt want her…and that kiss looks like thats going to change her mind a bit…

    I’m worried too about that kiss because it means they’re changing important things on the book, i know they have to adapt it to the movie script but the hole bedroom scene when bella wakes up and think’s she’s dead it’s great for me and with this pictures i’m starting to worry that all that is not going to be in the movie…

    I loved new moon but i for the look of it the bedroom escene is out, shame”¡¡— because it makes the whole book i hope melissa Rosenberg (screenwriter)did not cut this out. but hope is the only thing we have
