Are Jon and Kate Gosselin running an illegal sweat-shop or something??

Not content with major marriage problems, seems like the bosses at the Pennsylvania labor department thinks the couple’s hit TV show Jon and Kate Plus 8 might be in breach of child labor laws.

The TLC series is now under investigation.

"I can confirm that our bureau of labor law compliance is conducting an investigation as they do whenever they receive a charge," said Christopher Manlove, a spokesman for the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry.

It’s not entirely clear why the probe has been launched, but TLC has responded by saying it ”fully complies with all applicable laws and regulations.”

It adds: ”Jon and Kate + 8 is no exception.  For an extended period of time, we have been engaged in cooperative discussions and supplied all requested information to the Pennsylvania Department of Labor.

”We will continue to engage the appropriate officials and meet any standards or regulations that are applicable to TLC productions."

 What’s the problem anyway? If you’ve got eight kids, make them work for their food…

American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi has thrown a cat amongst the pigeons, letting slip what most of America already suspected, that Adam Lambert is gay.

“I don’t think that Adam was ever in [the closet],” she said on The View this morning.

“I think he was always openly out. I never thought he wasn’t.”

When asked by Barbara Walters if the rumors surrounding his sexuality may have influenced voters, Kara said, “Well, first of all, I hope not … because we should be judging on talent and viability in the music industry and they both [Adam and winner Kris Allen] had that.”

Let’s just wait for Adam to make an official announcement on if he’s gay or not…like it’s any of our business anyway.

It’s a good thing Wolverine star Hugh Jackman likes the daily attention he gets from the photographers who record his every move.

Because if he didn’t…and God forbid you made the dude mad…who’d want to be whacked in the chops by one of these guns??

We caught up with Hugh all pumped up after his daily gym workout today, and once again he was his usual, smiling, gentlemanly self.

And after seeing those biceps, the photographers were just as nice back.

American Idol  finalists Kris Allen and Adam Lambert have been doing the whole promotional tour trying to kick-start their new singing careers in New York this week.

And when they got up close and personal for the cameras, you can see the difference in stature.

Adam towers over titchy Kris…and we suspect this is just how their respective careers will pan out.

Kris has a nice voice, but we’re sure obscurity beckons for him, whereas Adam will go on to rock the rock world.

Devoted dad Adam Sandler is determined not to miss a second of his daughter Sunny growing up.

So what does he do when he’s hard at work? He takes her for a day at the office, of course.

We caught up with Adam with his cutesy offspring on the set of Grown Ups - which also stars Salma Hayek and Chris Rock -  in Massachusetts.

And Adam even had time to show off his beautiful daughter to the photographers…and pulled them a few funn faces just for the hell of it.
