I would be remiss if I didn’t take a moment to pay tribute to the great Bea Arthur.  The 86-year-old actress lost her battle with cancer over the weekend and was a household name with many generations due to her lead roles in Maude and The Golden Girls (both of which earned her Emmy awards.)  Bea’s GG co-star, Betty White, told Entertainment Tonight, "I knew it would hurt, I just didn’t know it would hurt this much. I’m so happy that she received her Lifetime Achievement Award while she was still with us, so she could appreciate that. She was such a big part of my life."

We will miss your sass and your talent Bea Arthur, thank you for being a friend.
